General Borough Information related to COVID-19:

Borough Hall and the Swarthmore Public Library remain closed until further notice.  Borough staff is available by telephone (610-543-4599) and e-mail (swarthmore2@comcast.net). The Borough Police and Fire Departments remain on duty 24/7. Call 911 for assistance.

Borough parks are open only for walking; no congregating or use of play equipment is permitted.  

Trash, recycling, and yard waste collection are continuing as scheduled.  New orders for leaf mulch delivery will begin the week of March 30.  Orders can be made by telephone, e-mail or on-line through "On-Line Bill Pay" on the front page of the website.  Checks for payment should be mailed to the Borough office.

Borough Council's regularly scheduled April 13 meeting will be held virtually.  Information on how to participate will be posted on this page when available.  All other meetings at Borough Hall have been cancelled. 

At this time there is no in-person payment of Borough Real Estate Tax.  Tax payments should be mailed as directed on the bill.
