Environmental Advisory Council

The Environmental Advisory Council is proud to announce that Swarthmore has the distinction of being both a Pennsylvania Clean Energy Community and an EPA  Green Power Partner.  As of April, 2008, Swarthmore ranks 12th in the nation on the Green Power Communities list (http://www.epa.gov/greenpower/toplists/communities.htm).  Swarthmore is the only community east of the Mississippi on the list, and is the community with the largest percentage of total green power electric use.  If you haven't already signed up, go to the www.cleanyourair.org.
