Minutes – Wednesday, July 20, 2005

Meeting called to order: 7:05 P.M.

Present: Committee: Jim Godderz, Peg Hebner, Alice Willetts (Chair)
Joanna Jacobs (Council member); Russell Atkinson; Alan Berman
Clarkson Palmer absent

A Completed Ordinance - prepared by Jim Godderz with a few changes by Bob Scott,
was presented and discussion ensued.
Document had been E Mailed to entire group ahead of time.

Putty has originally asked for a simple ordinance or resolution, more
easily understood by the layman. After studying the presented mate
material, she still felt that a less complicated version would be better
accepted and understood by all.

Peg Hebner, after studying the material decided that she too felt it
too long and too complicated for an average citizen with no legal
background. Was for a document for the layman.

Joanna Jacobs offered to draft another ordinance, and incorporate
material from Jim’s, that is not included in the State or Federal , in
a document that would include the State and Federal Ordinances.

This was agreed upon by all.

It was felt that this approach would conserve our resources.

Joanna will send the completed document to Putty and she will distribute it to members of the entire group to be studied before the next meeting on:
