Citizen Comments:

Meeting was called to order at 815 P.M.
The Agenda for 2004 was discussed and the following topics were selected as a beginning for the committee to tackle. The committee agreed to continue the study of the results of the Senior Forum held at the end of2003. Much of the material cannot be actually done by Council, but Council’s support is needed in almost every area. One item that the committee thought might be possible for Council to contribute ware the magnetic magnets ‘or the refrigerator that would have a central number which could put seniors, and any other citizens who might want such an aid in touch with a central coordinator, who could meet their need immediately. This project is contingent .with the Health Program soon to be advertised, under the Senior Citizen’s Housing Committee.

Peg richer refreshed our memory regarding a phase #2 of the Merchant of the Month” Program. When all the merchants have been covered, it was Peggy’s suggestion that Putty initiate a second series that might be titled Know Your Volunteers” or Know Your Town Government” under which we would bring in Committee Chairmen etc. To explain what their group does. A list was compiled and will be added to as the project gets underway. Any new merchants who come to town will still be asked to participate.

To be discussed at next meeting:
WEB SITE- more promotion; more guide lines and a policy; input from community as to what they would like on The Site; Web address should be on a banner hung behind the Council Desk - to be seen by television

REPAIRS IN BORO HALL - Council chairs

Respectfully submitted Alice P. Willetts (Chair)
